A wonderful cookbook full of dessert recipes for those who want to lose weight or need to avoid processed sugars and/or gluten. Elisa Silva wants people on ketogenic/low carb diets to stay on their diet by instructing them how to make delicious desserts they thought they would never be able to eat again.
I have this cook book. I love it. But I I have a question: I made the recipe on page3 51, No Bake Key-lime Cheesecake. The ingredients for the filling it calls for 2 medium ripe avocados yet in the directions it doesn’t mention them to add to the recipes. I skipped the avocados and added 2tbs sour cream. It did not set in 2 hours. What does the avocados do?

ReplyDeleteI have this book and made the brownies and they were disgusting. Could barely put them in your mouth. Everyone that tried them gagged. What did I do wrong??? I can't imagine anyone liking these. I was very disappointed and am scared to try anything else.
